When to Order Branded Tech Gifts: Leave Time for a Real Test
A tech gift needs a compatibility check as well as an artwork approval. Put both into your event or onboarding schedule.
The deadline for a tech order is not just the date the boxes arrive. Someone needs time to open a sample, try the intended use and check what a recipient will actually receive.
Test before the design becomes final
If you are ordering cables for a particular device, establish the required connectors and functions early. For a handheld fan, handle the controls and check the supplied charging information. A digital logo proof cannot answer those questions.
Testing the right model matters more than testing a vaguely similar item. Record the model and agreed specification alongside the approved artwork.
Build the packing day into the plan
An accessory going into a welcome kit needs to be available before the kit is assembled. Include room for checking components, adding instructions and labelling cartons. Do not set the product arrival date on the same morning as distribution.
Where preparation or charging is required, agree who will do it and follow the supplied instructions.
Reorders deserve another quick check
Even if the brand mark stays the same, a later order may use a different model or configuration. Confirm those details rather than treating the old photograph as the specification.
When discussing tech merchandise, give the supplier the distribution date and the earlier date you need the items for checking and packing. Those two dates make the schedule much clearer.
