When to Order Custom Drinkware: Check the Lid Before the Logo Deadline
A drinkware sample needs a practical review as well as an artwork check. Leave time to examine carrying, cleaning and packing before approval.
It is frustrating to approve a beautiful design and only later discover that the chosen lid is unsuitable for the intended use. Put the practical decisions early in the order.
Agree how the item will be carried
Will it sit on a desk, be carried upright or go into a bag? Confirm the model's stated closure characteristics. If a particular use is essential, ask for the relevant information before relying on an appearance or category label.
Check the capacity and dimensions at the same stage. A replacement size can change the packing plan.
Review decoration on the actual finish
Ask which process is offered and how much space is usable around curves and handles. A print placement approved for one body shape may not transfer neatly to another.
Include an internal deadline for consolidating artwork feedback. It is easier to keep the schedule clear with one final approver.
Receive before gift packing starts
If bottles or mugs go into another bag or box, allow time for checking the individual packaging and fit. Any care information should travel with the item rather than remaining in an email thread.
For drinkware orders, give the supplier your preparation date as well as the event date. A carton arriving on the day of distribution leaves little room for inspection.
