When to Order Custom Stationery: Watch the Information Deadline
A standard notebook and a fully customised inner layout need different approvals. Identify what can change before you set the schedule.
The design can look finished while a phone number, programme title or staff list is still waiting for confirmation. With stationery, those small information changes can be the part that holds up approval.
Separate stock features from custom content
For an existing notebook or pen, confirm the model and decoration requirements. If you want custom inner pages, printed exercises or individual name cards, treat that content as a separate approval job.
Ask which decisions affect production and when the final artwork is needed. Do not assume all stationery orders follow the same route.
Put the proof in front of the right person
Brand teams can check logos. Staff or event owners need to verify names, contact details and written content. One reviewer should collect the corrections into a clear final version.
For variable information, use one master list rather than a series of message updates.
Leave time to check before distribution
An event notebook needs to arrive before delegate bags are packed. Staff name cards need a spelling check before they are handed out. Build that inspection window into the deadline.
When discussing custom stationery, give the date the items must be ready for packing or staff use. The public event date alone may leave the approval team with less time than they expect.
